Jos Biggs in a Roundabout way !!

I think I’ve discovered the way to a Spaniard’s heart.

Forget expensive hospitality. Forget lavish gifts. Forget pretending to understand what Flamenco is all about.

No, the surest way to becoming the object of desire, a person revered above all others is to build a roundabout.

If you can add some sort of edifice to the top of it then you are made for life!

I have often suspected this was so, though my speculations had not been fully formed - but now they are! The newest addition to the roundabout tally is the new one outside Hyperocio!

It’s not just any old roundabout, it’s a perfectly round roundabout.

Roundabouts, or at least roundabouts in the Albox/Arboleas area have been proliferating faster than rabbits. 

I like roundabouts, particularly round ones. The signage on the approach is not always crystal clear, so I sometimes go round them more than once, just to make sure that I’m turning off in the right direction!

Other times I go round them more than once because I like going round roundabouts. Specially the round roundabouts - on the second pass I can make use of the inner lane and push Henry into an undignified emulation of drivers in American movies and Top Gear. 

I can feel him tutt-tutting at this feckless behaviour, but I tell him that just once in a while it’s nice to do something spontaneous and slightly silly.

I might have forgotten one or two, but by my calculations there are 10 between Albox BP Station and Arboleas main drag next to the Rambla.

There was talk of putting one in Limaria by the bus stop. (No bus, just a bus stop)

If they did that then my joy would know no bounds!
