Walk 4 Life 6km Anyway Challenge

THEY DID IT!!!

Despite the awful weather Cafétastic and The Garage did the 6 kilometre Walk route this morning.  They did it in memory of Darren’s wife Natalie who passed away earlier this year from cancer.  You can sponsor them by popping into Cafétastic or The Garage

The Garage are also donating €10 to Walk for Life “for ANY vehicle service (must be a FULL service), no matter what the price is”.FB_IMG_1622900739637FB_IMG_1622900733775FB_IMG_1622900730634FB_IMG_1622900727934FB_IMG_1622900721619FB_IMG_1622900719117FB_IMG_1621081510044

From. Maureen Boulton .

Maureen has just had a knee operation and thought you should be aware of the following.

Garry and I both had Covid tests 48 hours prior to me going into to H O hospital for an operation. I went in Monday evening not needing Garry there at that time, and Garry arrived Tuesday morning. Unknowing to us, once he was in the hospital was not allowed to leave or would be refused entry when he returned. He would not be given another Covid test as he had had one for this operation to be with me. So, having only what he was wearing, a tee shirt and shorts, was what he had to live with until I came home Friday.

We were not advised this by anyone.

Whilst understanding the reasons for this rule, it hadn't entered our heads that it would be so, as we had the operation on our minds.
