This is Jack Gowdy, he was just two at the time of the walk and with the help of his Mum and Dad raised an amazing 350€ for Walk for Life.
He did the 6km walk, although he had a bit of help from his dad for some of the way.

Our bakers will rise to the occasion once again for our Annual Tea Party We are looking to make this the biggest and best Spanish tea party yet.

Age Support Almanzora's team will be sprinkling the final bits of icing on their cakes and drying off their mugs for our annual Afternoon Tea and Fashion Show. 

The event brings together volunteers, friends, family and fashionistas over a cuppa and some cake while raising money for a very worthy cause.  Our Afternoon Tea Party will be held on Saturday 16 July from 2.30pm, at Age Support Almanzora, Albox.  

You will enjoy a glass of chilled Cava on arrival and be served Afternoon Tea by our scrumptious ladies.  You will be welcome to join in the fun by taking part in games, a raffle and all the while being entertained by our fabulous models in our Fashion Show all for the fantastic price of 10 euro per person.  If you would like to donate a cake or desserts (or anything really) for us to raffle, we would appreciate your generosity. 

Please help us at Age Support Almanzora support our friends and families here in the Almanzora valley and help us try to bring some comfort to those who are in need.  "We're all really excited to hold our second afternoon Tea Party. This event is all about spending time with the people who are close to you (and us) whilst also raising funds and awareness of the incredible work that our volunteers do.

Age and Loneliness can leave many people isolated and without the support they need.This is why it's so important for Age Support Almanzora to bring people together in the hope we can identity people in need.Let's help them talk and reminisce about the good old days , our Befrienders are excellent listeners and quietly provide an invaluable service within our community .
