From Monday 4 October at 4am, the current traffic light system will be replaced by a single ‘red list’, with simplified travel measures for arrivals who have not visited a country on the red list in the past 10 days. Eligible fully vaccinated travellers from non-red list countries, which currently includes Spain, will: ▪️ need to book, pay for and take a day 2 test (https://www.gov.uk/find-travel-test-provider?fbclid=IwAR0NLi87BrExmy3IIzD-Fuea7Olt1u0Zhg5LtY6tqvVIPLJt9O26fs9Mroo) ▪️ fill out a passenger locator form ahead of travel (https://www.gov.uk/provide-journey-contact-details-before-travel-uk?fbclid=IwAR0SUChD8d0Ie8oacEBjNEI4DidRlsqHyVHgmb4BNN8L3110Wfj4EH8Agdc) ▪️ no longer need to take a pre-departure test when travelling to England ▪️ not need to self-isolate upon arrival in the UK Unvaccinated children travelling to England from Spain do not need to self-isolate upon arrival (https://www.gov.uk/guidance/how-to-quarantine-when-you-arrive-in-england?fbclid=IwAR2TTnei-fS-rXDamD437GZIriEbTRCo8ERnY7FsFm5Fk1yPht0E0ewQE44#rules-for-children-and-young-people) From 4 October travellers who have had a mix of eligible 2 dose vaccines (e.g. a combination of AstraZeneca and Pfizer BioNtech) will be recognised as fully vaccinated.
