From. British Embassy in Madrid. A reminder that the rules for travelling to all parts of the UK changed on Monday 4 October. As long as you are fully vaccinated, a pre-departure test is no longer required. You can find more detail on this page, which also links to the guidance for Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/travel-to-england-from-another-country-during-coronavirus-covid-19. We know that some people’s EU Digital COVID certificate (EU DCC) only includes the date of the second dose of the vaccine. But as long as it is an EU DCC this will still be accepted as proof of being fully vaccinated. However, a certificate that indicates natural immunity ie. one dose of a vaccine, plus having had COVID, is not currently recognised as being fully vaccinated by the UK. This policy is kept under review and we will let you know should there be any change. The rules for travelling with children have also changed. Please see https://www.gov.uk/guidance/travel-to-england-from-another-country-during-coronavirus-covid-19#travelling-with-children for more information.FB_IMG_1633616261316
