From. N332. Don't park in a disabled space unless you have the permit allowing you to do so. A few months ago a driver was fined by the Local Police for using a disabled parking space in a shopping center car parking. The driver claimed that Police has no competence to fine her because it is a private parking so she decided to appeal the ticket to the Court The judge, after having evaluated all the evidence and having listened to both parties, provided a decision; the driver will have to pay the fine because although it was private parking it was open to the public therefore it is submitted to the traffic law and it is the Police who must enforce the law. We clearly explain it in this chapter of the Spanish Traffic Law; https://spanishtrafficlaw.es/section-i-general-rules-of-driving-behaviour/article-1-scope-of-the-application/FB_IMG_1633616946036
