From. Informacion Covid19 Almeria. Third Vaccine Update. The EMA authorizes the third Pfizer puncture for those over 18 years of age. The more than 35.2 million Spaniards over 18 years of age who have already completed the schedule or who are still in it will be called again over the next half year to receive the third dose of the covid vaccine, which in all cases will be from Pfizer, regardless of the prophylaxis they received the first time. The European Medicines Agency (EMA) has authorized this Monday the administration in the 27 of the "additional" intake ('booster') to all the adults of the formula of the German-American consortium. That - recognized on Monday officials of the department headed by Carolina Darias - was the signal that Health was waiting to immediately launch the revaccination campaign this month of October, starting with the oldest age groups. The Committee for Human Medicines (CHMP) of the EMA, which since September 6 was immersed in an "accelerated evaluation" of the request of the North American giant, resolved in its meeting today that the data from Pfizer indeed "shows an increase in antibody levels when a booster dose is given approximately 6 months after the second dose in people aged 18 to 55 years. Therefore, the committee concluded "that booster doses can be considered at least 6 months after the second dose for people 18 years of age and older." In other words, the green light for universal revaccination of adults, regardless of their health status or whether they are groups more or less exposed to the virus. A decision that, the regulator recalls, will be the responsibility of the health authorities of each country.
From. Age Support Almanzora. Vanya Patricia Ager Good morning, apologies for the delay in posting but I spent nearly 1 hour yesterday putting together my post only to lose it once I tried to post. Facebook and other areas were all down!!! Anyway, just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who attended our Sunday Funday event at the New Trinidad, thank you to Trev, Bev and team for making us so welcome. Thank you to the Stall Holders, who I hope had a good day too. The entertainment was brilliant, our thanks go to: The Ruby Welts, Wee Biscuit, Diamond Kahn, Steve Jackson, Geoff Murrell and Bobby Gray from Breeze FM for giving up their Sunday afternoon for us. We are so grateful to you all. Our fabulous auction raised 400 euro, the raffle raised another 169 euro, tombola 96 euro and sweets in jar 42 euro. We had 80 euros of private donations and with the ticket money etc we raised a whopping 1185 euro. We had a great crowd, and a good time was had by all. Photos to follow. Thank you, thank you, thank you! The money raised will pay for another hospital bed, we need so many of them. When a bed goes out on free loan we never know how long its going to be out and more and more people are in need of them. Thank you for your continued support x
