If you are planning on getting married in Spain, check out these top tips:

1. An application to get married in Spain usually involves a lot of bureaucracy and can be time-consuming, so do allow enough time to get your paperwork in order before you head down the aisle. 

2. What you need can vary depending where you live, so get in touch with the relevant Civil Registry to make sure you know exactly what's required. 

3. Visit the Getting married abroad website at www.gov.uk/marriage-abroad to check out the documents you might need from the UK Government, such as a Certificate of No Impediment (CNI)
