Bryan has already posted about this but just some additional information...
A Ukrainian family Vitali, his wife Yana and their young son Damir finally found a reliable secondhand car thanks to PadPall in Albox. Living for the past few months in Lucar, in accommodation provided free by Bryan Vann, Vitali recently found work and family accommodation in Holland but had no means of getting there. Free rail travel was available but not feasible as the family included their pet cat Tonic and their large Labrador Gin!
So the search for a car began and after many disappointments, PadPall came up trumps with the perfect car....only problem was the price which was well outside the money available, even with contributions from my donation fund and a personal donation from Bryan
But immediately they heard of the family's situation Justin and Lydia of PadPall offered the car for the money available......an amazingly generous offerr which was very gratefully accepted.
So a million thanks to everyone who made the purchase of the car possible:

- Ellen Green who donated a very generous €500 which paid the insurance and transfer taxes... until recently Ellen ran The Giving Tree charity shop in Albox but for family reasons had to be shut down. And Ellen distributed all remaining proceeds from the shop to a number of local charities.
- Nicole Freihoefer who did the transfer of ownership free of charge
- Bryan the family's host who donated very generously to the purchase of the car
- And last but not least my family and friends who donated to my Ukrainian Families Fund which contributed to the cost of the car
Damir the little boy has a long term kidney disorder has a hospital appointment in Murcia today. So once that is over, they will start planning their long trip to a new life in Holland.....so Vitali, Yana, Damir, Gin & Tonic....Safe journey, Buen viaje ???
