14 members of our wonderful Town Hall staff including the Mayor, Cristobal, walked The Walk route of 6km last night and raised €261 for Walk for Life.  Thank you to them and all who sponsored and donated

‼️ The Government includes the United Kingdom and Japan in the list of countries EXEMPT from restrictions to travel to Spain ‼️

? From 00:00 hours on May 24th 2021

The Government has decided to include the United Kingdom and Japan in the list of countries and regions whose residents are NOT affected by the temporary restriction of non-essential travel to the European Union through the external borders. 

This is stated in an Order published today Friday in the Official State Gazette (BOE): https://www.boe.es/boe/dias/2021/05/21/pdfs/BOE-A-2021-8449.pdf

«Third countries and regions whose residents are not affected by the temporary restriction of non-essential trips to the EU through the external borders in the terms set out in this order:

1. Australia.

2. Israel.

3. ➡️ Japan.

4. New Zealand.

5. Rwanda.

6. Singapore.

7. South Korea.

8. Thailand.

9. ➡️ United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

10. China.

? This order will take effect from 00:00 hours on May 24th, 2021. ?

? IMPORTANT ? The measures when returning to UK (quarantine, COVID tests etc) continue in place as Spain continues on the UK's "amber" list. 

THIRD EDIT: SPANISH GOVERNMENT HAS REMOVED THE OFFICIAL DOCUMENT STATING THAT NEGATIVE TEST NOT NECESSARY. THEREFORE, CURRENT RESTRICTIONS CONTINUE IN PLACE UNTIL THEY MAKE A DECISION. We are so sorry but they are really "messing us around" this morning and keep making changes, and we are trying to keep up ??
