The Junta maintains the measures in force in matters of Public Health after the meeting of the Committee of Experts.

 

 The High Impact Alerts Committee has decided to extend the current measures after analyzing the epidemiological parameters.

 

 The Junta de Andalucía has decided to maintain the measures in force in the autonomous community in matters of Public Health at the proposal of the Regional Committee for Alerts of High Impact on Public Health (Committee of Experts), once the epidemiological situation and pressure of care of the  autonomous community at the meeting held this afternoon.

 

 Although there are parameters that have dropped considerably in recent days, such as healthcare pressure, the mean age of diagnostic tests for active infection or accumulated AI above 60 years, in addition to the increase in vaccination coverage due to  Over 50 years, others persist that maintain still high indicators such as the cumulative incidence of cases per 100,000 inhabitants both at 7 and 14 days.  With these data, the Committee of Experts has recommended extending the measures in force in the community.

 

 Once the meeting was over, the Minister of Health and Families, Jesús Aguirre, appealed to the Andalusian population "not to relax the priority sanitary hygiene measures" in reference to the use of the mask, the maintenance of interpersonal distance  and hand washing.  Aguirre has urged "prudence, since the virus continues to be among us."  "The virus kills and lowering your guard will only mean an increase in active infection," he insisted.

 

 The Regional Committee for High Impact Alerts in Public Health will continue to make a continuous daily evaluation of all the parameters and, if the evolution progresses properly, it will meet in two weeks to evaluate the possible transition to the advance phase.
