Clare Shirley Vaccination News

From Clare Shirley

Andalusia will extend this week the request for a direct appointment to be vaccinated against Covid to those born between 1975 and 1980.

It will be done progressively, starting tomorrow with people born in 1975 and 1976, who will be able to request an appointment for the first dose through ClicSalud + or by phone and the Responde Health App

Andalusia continues to progressively lower the coronavirus vaccination cut for those under 50 this week. Thus, from tomorrow Tuesday, people born in 1976 and 1975, that is, who are turning 46 or 45 years old in 2021, You can make an appointment for the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine directly on the website of the Andalusian Health Service (SAS) through ClicSalud + (http://lajunta.es/365xz), through the mobile application and the telephone de Salud Responde (955 54 50 60) and also at your health center, preferably by phone.

In the coming days, this opening of agendas will continue so that on Thursday, June 10, those born in 1977 and 1978 (who turn 44 and 43 during 2021) and on Friday for those who turn 42 and 41 during 2021 (born in 1979 and 1980).

Immunization for this age group will be with Pfizer, Moderna, or Janssen.

On the other hand, as a novelty this week, on Wednesday the possibility of self-appointment will also be opened for people born from 1954 to 1961 who have not yet received their dose. This group of pending people will be vaccinated with Janssen.

The possibility of making an appointment directly in Andalusia will thus be extended at the end of the week for all people over 41 years of age. The number of appointments will be adjusted according to the available doses and will be operational for the people registered in the SAS User Database, regardless of whether they have public or private insurance. People who have had the disease must wait six months from the diagnosis of the infection to make an appointment.

As for the appointment for the administration of the second dose, it cannot be requested through these routes and it will be provided in most cases at the time of vaccination or will be communicated later by your health center.

This week, Andalusia receives 508,920 doses: 428,220 from Pfizer, 55,000 from Moderna and 25,700 from Janssen. AstraZeneca doses are not confirmed, but a shipment is planned.

In addition, all people over 55 years of age who have not been cited due to not having updated data in the SAS database or due to another type of incident have the option of contacting the SAS to obtain an appointment for vaccination. through the telephone numbers enabled for this purpose.
