Morning to you all, just to let you know I have finally retired from Walk for Life after nearly ten years, some may think crikey I thought she went in 2019 but I didn't but finally we have the lovely Claire Harper to take over the Secretary post, who will do a great job. I wish to thank the many people in our area who have supported Walk for Life since its inception and I will miss it greatly but time for my husband to have some extra nagging lols. Xx

*Important update on entry requirements to Spain for visitors from the UK*

This morning, the Spanish government announced easing of the entry requirements to Spain for young people from the UK. 

From 00:00 hours (GMT +1) on Monday 14 February, travellers from the UK between the ages of 12 and 17 (inclusive) no longer have to be fully vaccinated. They will be able to enter Spain by presenting documentation certifying that they have undertaken a COVID-19 nucleic acid amplification (NAAT) test (PCR or similar) within 72 hours prior to arrival in Spain. Antigen tests are not accepted.  

Alternatively, travellers between 12 and 17 years old can continue to enter Spain with a full vaccination certificate, rather than presenting a negative test. Spain defines someone as being fully vaccinated if they have had two vaccine doses of a two-dose vaccine or one dose of a one-dose vaccine. Those under 12 years old do not need to show proof of being fully vaccinated or testing negative for entry to Spain.
