what to do if you test positve for Covid

I received this message from one of our members, Jan Dando, this morning.

** Morning.  Just to let you know I have tested positive.  Came on last night just with cold-like symptoms.  Right as rain yesterday daytime!

I have filled out the form on Salud Responde.  Not sure what I should do now?  I've told all those I have been in contact with socially.

Any advice would be gratefully received. TIA **

I checked with Clare Shirley and she replied as follows : -

Jan has done everything correctly. No PCR test required as with the very high numbers, they are struggling to cope. However, she must isolate for 7 days. Other household members, as a matter of being sensible, althoughnot a Government requirement, should also have a test.

If symptons get bad then phone 061, explain syptons, they will send out peoplein full PPE.

Jan gave me permission to share this on here. Yes we are aware in the vast majority of cases the symptoms are mild. Howeve, it may not be mild to a person with underlying health problems. If people do not keep to the rules they are being selfish and irresponsible to others.
